i just realised i forgot to let u guys know i've been posted to SRJC..
anyway..
the thought of going to a whole new environment the day after tomorrow makes me feel like there's butterflies in my stomach..
seriously, i'm getting nervous..
its like first day of school..
you walk around the school aimlessly with your head down..
occationally glancing up to survey the environment..
you head to your class room which is extremely quiet u can hear the fan turnning..
you sit at one corner where there are the least number of people..
the orientation begins..
and the usual stuffs..
this really is quite scarry..
haha..
to everyone who's beginning their jorney on a whole new envirnoment, good luck.! =)

oh ya..
i almost forgot to wish everyone a happy new year.!
new year sparks new resolutions.!
i bet ms james class this year's first compo or SW is " my new year resolutions"
old trick.!
i believe its actually just one simple excuse teachers use.
because they too have yet to recover from the holiday mood and cant think of a better title to use..
so they just conveniently use this title. period.

my new year's eve was spent working.
but its 1.5 so its worth it.!
went over to esplanade with damien, kah hwee, ying ying, lyn, tian mu, khee rui, pei yin, and kelly to countdown.
there wasnt really a countdown though.
just fireworks display.
aparrently sinagporeans get very high over fireworks.
the display was excellent i have to say..
just that there was a serious lack of oxygen and all the air that u breathe in was hot and sweaty..
and no, this is no hot and sweaty bods we usually relate to.
its the total opposites.
and lyn was damn poor thing to always be surrounded by archars..
this is one good time i put my height to good use though.
we were practically squeezed to where we stood for the fireworkds display.
had a really big problem later on trying to squeeze into the trains.
and tian mu was really angry with an aunty.
cause the aunty asked him not to lean so close.
haha.
headed over to lau pat sat after sending ying ying and kah hwee off.
khee rui is quite obviously in love with kah hwee.
we kept making fun of him. poor guy.
anyway, the reputation of lau patsat having one of the best satays really do not live up to their expectations.
further more we had to wait for so long before they came.
after that shared a cab with damien, lyn and kelly.
chatted awhile with doreen before heading to sleep..

i woke up at 10.30 this morning to pee.
then i read the papers and went to shit as well. hahs!
then i couldnt get back to sleep so i watched the repeat of last night's match.
congratuation to ronaldo who's finally found his form.
liverpool too are in red hot form.
they are now chelsea's most serious competitor for the title.
and judging from the way chelsea are playing now.
i think its hard not for them to retain the title.
then i went to sleep at 2.30 only to be woke up by a call from doreen at 4.30.
the call should have came at 12.
but i'm not surprised.
then i decided not to go out bacuase i was too tired.
then i went back to sleep and woke up at 7.30.
i told my sis to wake me up at 7.30 but i din expected myself to be sleeping at 7.30 though.
i thought i would already be awake having a game of mahjong. =)

my holiday over at damai laut was great.
i have yet to experienced any holiday that i've had that i was so relaxed.
however the 4-star hotel though had excellent facillities had slow and ppo service and food.
i din swin at all cause i forgot to bring along my swimming costume.
and even if i did.
i doubt i'll be able to fit in.
i bought that suit when i was in my best shape.
i'm in my poorest shape now.
and i can seriously feel how that extra 10kgs of load feels to my legs.
and after not doing serious exercise since august.
my heart isnt working too well either.
i brisk walk from my room to the lobby has me breadthing deeply.
and i can really feel myself shaking more due to the extra amount of fat.
lol.
my new year resolution is to get back to what i was when i bought the swim suit.

anyway.
during that trip, i saw a couple of what we call ang mo.
after which, i have concluded that i really have a soft spot for them.
i find them extremely hot and sexy. =)
i'm having this big hope of being with an ang mo then an asian men.
and my mum doenst have any disagreements about that.
so. this is going to be fun!

we drove over to ipoh on one of the days to have a taste of the famous ya cai ji.
in case u do not know, its white chicken with bean sprouts.
and we found out that it is only available at night.
what a wasted trip.
then we headed back to the hotel empty handed.
but we did have our lunch at ipoh.
it was extremely cheap.
i bet it would have cost at least double the price if we ordered that in s'pore.
for ur info, the drive too 1 hour 15 min.

on one of the nights, we drove out to town area.
well it was not really town.
just where most ppl live.
and settled for dinner at a coffee shop.
then my dad asked the drink-stall helper if there was any place we could do shopping.
then he gave directions we decided not to follow.
he said past one traffic light then pass another traffic light then turn.
then my dad ask turn left or turn right.
then he answered turn.
then my dad used body language.
he used his left hand to point and asked turn right is it.?
then he answer ya, turn.
hmm.. until now i still think it was right not to follow his instructions.

i'll continue another time.!
