festive season.

the first day of cny was a very colourful day.
i had meals in every house that i visited.
haha. no wonder no one can lose weight during this festive period.

when i was on my way to my second visiting, i received a msg from jasmine.
she told me she was going to leave for usa to study on the day itself.
i was really shocked.
i didnt know anything about it.
then i wished her all the best.
i gave yingwen a call to ask her about it.
and i realised some ppl held a farewell party for her.
i felt very guilty not even knowing that she was leaving.
since dunno when she asked me out to go kboxing.
but eveytime either i or her wasnt free.
then during the holidays she asked me if i can go kboxing on one of my off days.
i told her i've been booked alr.
then i postponed and postponed.
now when i realised she's no longer here, i thought.. why didnt i ask her out for kboxing before.?
i can only wish she enjoys her life there at usa.
i'm feel very sad for her and justin, who is also my long time friend.
they're relationship have always been very strong and they've always been very close.
i'm not gonna say anything about their relationship but i wish them all the best.

the first night i went to my dad's uncle's house.
we played inbetween while the rest of the guest are still on their way.
in case u dont know how to play.
let me first give u an explaintion of how to game is played.
for eg there are 4 ppl playing.
then each one puts $2 in the pool.
then the pool become $8.
then 2 cards a distributed to each player.
then each player can make a bet.
for example my cards are 3 and 9.
so i must get either a 4, 5 , 6 , 7, or 8.
if i happen to get a 3 or a 9, i will have to pay double of my bet.
ok so there are 5 chances that i will get the inbetween card.
so i bet $2. then the card turns out to be an inbetween card.
then i can take $2 from the pool.
if i do not get an inbetween card. i will have to contribute $2 to the pool.
so happen i got and ace and a king.
i was very confident that i will win.
for ur information, the pool was already around $300.
amazing how $2 can make up to $300 huh.? haha.
anyway. i bet $100.
i got an ace.
tha moment was pure shock and disbelief.
how the hell did i manage to get an ace.?
i started opening all my aqng pows and borrowing money from anybody who has.
then i felt my hands temble when i was distributing the cards.
until now i still cannot believe that i got an ace.
haha.

anyway.
second day was visiting my mum bro's and sis's house.
after that we went home for mahjong session. haha.
we increased te stakes to 40 cents 80 cents.
my dad was the big winner. winning almost $30.
then went over to another of my mum's bro's house for dinner.
then headed home again for mahjong session.
i think gambling is in the genes of my family.
whaha.!
of course not those big gambling la.
these kinda festive gambling.

3rd day.
went to my coach's house.
only me meiping, kar kei and jerome went.
thats extremely pathetic.
one person from each batch.
i remembered 3 years ago almost the whole team went.
this year we didnt have to give a wishing.
the moment we go there.
we seted up the mahjong table and started playing.
haha.
then meiping thought us how to play bridge.
it was a very nice game.
then went to central to meet doreen for pool.
jerome came along as well.
haiyo. make until doreen so gan jiong lo. hor.? haha.!
then came home to have dinner with my relatives.
but no one wanted to gamble lo.
so sian. haha.

today we'll have to wait for my bro to come back from his driving test to play mahjong.
he might not even want to play though.
he might wan to play his computer game.
then it will be so boring. hai.
