while waiting for my hair to dry...

since i'm waiting for my hair to dry naturally, i decided to come online to express my thought of some of the recent happenings around me and in singapore.

my mum told me on monday that i dont have to go to help her at the market the next day.
i knew what was going on.
she wasnt pleased with me that i take my salary for helping her and also demand pocket money.
it was written all over her face.
the mahjong game during the weekend also ended in a pretty unhappy way for her.
not becuase she lost money.
because we all find her too slow.
half way tru the game, my bro who wasnt playing came over and she asked him for help.
aparrently she didnt like his decision but still followed.
i'm not sure what happened next but she walked away from the table furiously and told my bro, "u play la. i dont understand what you're trying to do."
this is what i call no sportsmanship. BOO.!
that was sunday.
saturday was when she expressed her unhappiness with my demand of pocket money + salary.
when my bro came back from market on sunday.
he told me that my mom said she dont want us to go to market to help her anymore.
she will be hiring someone else to help her.
when i first heard it.
i thought it was good news.

it was only until the 2 days that i stayed at home all day rotting and not doing anything that made me realised sometimes its better not to complain too much and make do with what i have.
unless of course u already have a better offer or something.
u get wat i mean.?
and i seriously din expected her to be able to find a helper so fast.
i wanted her to regret asking us not to help her.

anyway, i asked carolyn to help me ask if i can go back to sizzler to work.
lilian said she'll schedule me for the next week.
i cant wait to get back to work.
i need the money for my new phone.

just yesterday.
my mom came home from market and told me her assistant doesnt want to work anymore.
can u imagine it.?
just 4 days and she wants out.?
this only goes to show that not everyone is as tolerant of her as us.
so if anyone of u who have read my previous entries that were complaining about her and had any doubt of what i wrote.
this would surely clear ur doubt.?
i cant help but smirk.
me and my dad were talking about my mum.
we both agreed that we pampered her too much.
we were tolerating her too much.
she can scold us cause we're family.
but no worker would work for an employer who's as aggressive as her.
so ppl, please believe me.
its not really the work at market that tires me.
its the person i'm working with. =)

even off work.
she's is equally aggressive.
doreen and yingwen can vough for me.
they heard her over the phone.
she purposely said it out loud so that they could hear.
doreen says her voice is bitchy.
i cant help but totally agree.

anyway.
today my mum made a shocking statement.
this came after she accidentally dropped my handphone.
she said "not to worry, i will buy one phone for u after ur current contract expires. to reward u for getting good results in ur o's." =D
this short statement alone is enough to put a smile back to my face after yet another horid day with her.
actually i kind of expected this to come.
its so predictable.
before i took the exams, i told my friends that the results would come just in time when my contract expires. thats also because i thought the results would be out in march.
so i have to do well so i will most likely stand a chance of a getting a free handphone from my mum.
then the past few days she's been asking about when my contract's gonna expire and all that.
ah..
mother's do things a lil too obvious.
i think my aunt's also thinking of getting me a phone as a reward.
cause's she's also asking me. haha.
my mum's budget is around $300.
if i can get my aunt to sponser maybe $200 then i wont have to pay a cent for my W800i.!
this is genius.
i'm gonna work my way to it very soon.

ok back to the usuals.
went for klunch with liwen yesterday.
huihui couldnt make it last min cause her idiot company asked her to go back to work.
after that went to pierce my second earhole. =D
then play pool.
teaching liwen how to play is pretty tough.
even though being tall is a good advantage.
i think liwen is too tall she is a lil clumsy around the table.
now liwen, huihui and yingwen all know how to play pool.!
and their first reaction when the hit their first ball in was pretty much alike.
i know how it feels.

ok my hair is dry already and i have completed what i started out to.
