curse of the golden flower.

finally.
my group and i met up for marketing project today.
first time since the hols.
and thank goodness there is some progress.
well i think my grp members are super on and serious la.
and tt's wad i like abt them.

so after proj went over to TM to watch curse of the golden flower with qi, cas, and james.
i din wanted to watch it at first.
cause all the ads on the movie shows jay and nothing else.
and i din suppos i will want to watch him and only him.
fortunately, clever marketers these days know its not possible to be the top grossing movie by only attract the young ones who go gaga over jay. (oh btw, either ppl didnt watch it for jay or they din know it was jay singing the ending song. coz everyone just couldnt wait to get out of the cinema even though it wasnt cold, there werent any jay fans who stay back to finish listening to the entire song)
they decided there are ppl like me who prefer veterens (better known as lao jiao in hokkien) like gong li, and chow yun fat.
hmm, doesnt this make me sound old.?
well, in layman terms, im more for shi li pai. =))

and boy did the shi li pai deserve their title as shi li pai.
well i pity the crown price la seriously, he's supposed to be the supporting actor but he's name wasnt in any of the billboards coz he's a relative unknown guy who resembles the guy from holland V.
u know the guy who is the boyfriend of the girl yangyang likes.? long story.
instead, jay chou's name was on the billboard.
but i would say, as much as im not a fan of jay's acting, i think he did betta than in initial D and definitely betta than the crown prince.
the crown price is totally comical.

during one scene, he had this stupid face and stupid tone in his acting.
he was saying something like " ni zhe ge fong zi (loosely translated as you this mad person)".
he was refering to gong li btw.
it was so comical only those super considerate audiences managed to surpress their giggles.
others who couldnt care less, for eg, the 4 of us, simple burst out laughing.
its totally humerous.
and i dont understand why jay has to do that face he does in tui hou's MV.

kudos to gong li and chow yun fat's excellent performance.!
even though i dun really like chow off screen, i'd have to say he did extremely well in this movie.
and gong li, words cannot describe how well she did in the movie la.
she just posses this elegance that she can summon effortlessly, and this sex appeal that oozes out from her everytime she's with messy hair.
zhang ziyi's still got a long way to go.
while gong li can cry so naturally and gracefully, jay can only quiver his jaw with no sign of tears.

intersting twist at the end and bravo to filial jay.! =)))
but do they really ring the bell once ever 2 hours in the tang dynasty.?
and i bet they dont wear such boob revealing costumes b4. haha.

right.
x'mas is coming.!
no plans yet though.
so pathetic. lol.
